On top of its nutritional benefits, our BSFL products remain palatable and hypoallergenic in nature, making it suitable for all taste buds and perfect for food-related allergies or sensitivities.

Live Black Soldier Fly (BSF) Larvae

Enhancing nutrition with insect-based Protein
Our Insect-based Protein is a result of a rigorous and quality-assured farming process involving the Black Soldier Fly Larvae. Born out of organic waste, the larvae are fed under meticulously controlled conditions that ensure a high standard of hygiene, health, and nutrition.
This commitment to quality sets us apart from other producers, as we guarantee our larvae are reared in optimal environments, in accordance to the prevailing EU standards approved for insect farming, contrary to potentially subpar farming practices elsewhere.
Our Process
Our Black Soldier Fly Larvae undergo a carefully monitored life cycle within our production facilities. After a thriving growth phase on our 100% organic substrate mix, the mature live larvae are harvested and transported to our drying chambers. This crucial stage of the process eliminates moisture while preserving the larvae's nutrient content, resulting in a highly concentrated protein source.
Once dried via either oven or microwave heating, the larvae can be used in their whole form, or further processed into a fine powder, offering versatile applications as a protein supplement in a variety of feed products.
Benefits
The integrity of our farming and production processes is a testament to our commitment to quality, making our insect-based protein a promising investment for stakeholders seeking sustainable and profitable solutions.
For customers, it assures them of a superior protein product that not only supports the health and performance of their pets and livestock but also contributes to a circular economy. With Insect Feed Technologies, customers can be certain they're choosing a product that is environmentally friendly, consistent and of the highest quality.

Revolutionising Pet & Animal Nutrition with Sustainable Insect Oil
Insect Feed Technologies also specializes in the production of high-quality insect oil. Our insect oil is produced from Black Soldier Fly larvae, which are nurtured on our blend of organic waste, under tightly regulated and optimized conditions. This ensures a consistently superior and traceable product, providing you with the assurance of quality and safety.
Superior Nutrition
Rich in lauric acid, amino acids, and other essential nutrients, our insect oil is a powerful nutritional supplement. It serves as an excellent energy source and aids in the health and growth of the animals. Its unique fatty acid profile makes it highly digestible, improving the overall health of the animals.
How It's Produced
As the Black Soldier Fly larvae mature, they naturally accumulate high levels of fats. These fats are carefully extracted through a press process, retaining the highest level of nutrients. The resultant oil is then filtered, ensuring a pure, clean product, free of contaminants.
Environmentally Friendly
Our process not only contributes to circular economy principles but also results in an environmentally friendly product. As opposed to traditional fish oil which is nutritionally comparable, our insect oil is derived from sustainably farmed insects, reducing pressure on marine ecosystems.
The Black Soldier Fly larvae consume organic waste, reducing the need for traditional waste disposal methods, and the entire process significantly lowers greenhouse gas emissions compared to traditional oil production.
Potential Applications
Insect oil can be used in a range of applications, including aquaculture, poultry, and pet food. It's an excellent alternative to traditional feed oils like fish oil, contributing to the sustainability of these industries.

Black Soldier Fly Adult (BSF)
Redefining soil and plant nutrition with insect frass
Frass, also known as insect waste or insect manure, is a 100% organic, natural, and sustainable byproduct of insect farming. It's a fantastic option for individuals and companies alike who are looking to reduce their carbon footprint while maintaining the quality of their soil and plant life.
Our frass is generated by Black Soldier Fly larvae after they've processed pre-consumer food waste. What results is a nutrient-rich organic fertilizer that's ideal for plant growth, rich in beneficial microorganisms and devoid of harmful pathogens.
Quality Assured
We take quality very seriously at Insect Feed Technologies. Our frass production is strictly regulated and monitored.
We ensure that the insects are reared in clean and controlled environments, and that the food waste used is non-toxic and free of contaminants. Often times, this part of the production is overlooked, where local, unregulated insect farmers in other jurisdictions use consumer food waste to feed insects.
As a result of our Singapore Food Agency (SFA) approved process, our frass of unparalleled quality that guarantees healthier, happier plants.
The Value of Frass
Frass is packed full of macro and micro-nutrients, including nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium. Not only does it enrich the soil, but it also stimulates microbial activity, promoting healthier and more fertile soils.
Our frass can be used for a variety of applications, from home gardening to commercial agriculture. It's suitable for all types of crops, enhancing growth and increasing yield while being gentle on the environment.

The ability to regenerate soils in a more sustainable way

With our frass, you're not just nourishing your plants - you're also contributing to a circular economy. By choosing our frass, you're participating in a sustainable solution that helps reduce food waste and greenhouse gas emissions, while improving soil health.
However, choosing our frass is not just a decision to support sustainability, but it's also an investment in superior soil health and long-term fertility.
Uniquely, frass contains chitin, a naturally occurring biopolymer, which not only increases the availability of nitrogen to soil microbes but also boosts the immunity of plants to pathogens and pests. This addition helps regenerate soils and improve fertility over the long term.
We currently partner with soil-based commercial farms, urban farms and landscapers for our frass, complementing traditional fertilizers by neutralizing the acidity found commonly in tropical soil.
